The vWorkspace Connector for Windows has a known issue with the following optional Microsoft update:

How does this affect vWorkspace Connector for Windows? [Note: See definition of “client” and “server” at the bottom of the section below titled “What does this Microsoft update do?”]
Known issues (client):
Do not apply this optional update to Windows 7 SP1 PCs or Server 2008 R2 SP1 until a forthcoming updated vWorkspace Windows Connector is installed. We will be releasing a hotfix to address this issue as quickly as possible.
Known issues (server):
This patch should not be applied to any production VDI instances of Windows 7 that are accessed via RDP until supported. vWorkspace support for 2012 and Windows 8 (RDP8) is planned for release in early 2013.
What does this Microsoft update do?
On Windows 7 SP1 PCs:
On Server 2008 R2 SP1:
This update will not automatically be installed by Windows Update, and only applies to Windows 7 SP1 PCs and Server 2008 R2 SP1.
Client - The client is used on the local machine to connect to a server resource, such as a terminal server or VDI. Server - The server in this context is normally a VDI instance of Windows 7, which accepts connections from a client |
Workaround |
Uninstall the Microsoft update (KB2592687). |
Status |
A product defect has been filed and R&D is working on an expedited permanent fix. Updates will be posted on the Support Portal in the knowledge base article SOL98855.
